In the first 8 minutes that .coop becomes available, and it outsells .com registrations in that 8 minutes, then do you logically extrapolate that trend to the conclusion .coop will eventually overtake .com?

We seem now to have an option to register: .kids, .kidz, .shop, .shoppe, .xxx, .xxa etc with anyone who can tweak your browser. Imagine, you really wanted business.com - no problem, Joe Bloggs can offer this to you on his address: JoeBlogsxxx.com as a subdomain.
I'll stick to my .coms, .nets and .orgs
